About mineral based silica
Mineral based silica is considered to have almost no roles for human body, it is rather considered as toxic.
According to National Institute of Biomedical Innovation study report, mineral based silica (crystals, etc) has dermal toxicity even when finely powdered in nano size, and is also announced to cause the liver dysfunction.
Sometimes it is confused with amorphous silica and is mixed in cosmetic products or supplement, therefore caution is required.
What is needed for human body has to be amorphous silica.
Decrystallization of crystalline silica (crystals, quartz) is artificially possible, yet it requires tremendous equipment costs and finished amorphous silica is expensive (¥5000/1g), therefore, application will be limited and is impossible to use them widely.
Moreover,100% efficiency cannot be gained even after the decrystallization in high temperature, therefore, it is predicted that a large amount of crystal still remain.
